I have loved all the Valentine inspiration around blogland the past few days. So many have caught my eye but one that really inspired me was by Linda's Works of Heart. I love vintage and shabby chic styles and adore her project that was created for CHA. Here's my version of her inspiration. I photographed my project on black paper but it looks blue here.
Here's the beginning of my project as I gathered papers from multiple stashes. The two main stashes were Tim Holtz Paper Stash and Authentique Lovely. I did lots of trimming and inking with Vintage Photo for my project.
.
The ribbon was inked with Memento Ink - Angel Pink plus a little Vintage Photo; then spritzed with water, scrunched and dried with my heat tool. I found a piece of vintage lace in my stash too so I little Vintage Photo was used lighted then spritzed and tried.
.
The lace edged paper is from Anna Griffin. I wish I had more of it but was only able to purchase two sheets at Hobby Lobby.
I trimmed lots of vintage paper for the love notes, then inked, sanded, and inked again. Edges were roughed, inked again and curled.

While looking in my stash, I found a small Spellbinder Die cutout that I had cut some time ago. All I had to do was ink it, then stamp with an "i love you" from the Stampers Anonymous Tim Holtz - Simple Sayings and pop it in. I also used a Tim Holtz Salvage sticker with the "14". The paper roses are also inked with Vintage Photo on the edges. I had a stick pin to add in plus a green leaf painted with Peeled Paint that I had left from a prior project.
It was so fun creating this project and a big "thank you" to Linda for her inspiration.
