Happy Heart Quilt

I've been taking some on-line quilting classes over the past several month from Philippa Naylor at Quilters Question Time. My latest class was the "Happy Heart"  class featuring curved piecing. Here's my finished quilt.

You can see the heart is made with curved piecing. Each square is 4x4. Some squares have curved pieces with two fabrics and some with three fabrics.

The white border of the quilt is asymmetrical then appliqued hearts were added.

If you would take a look at Philippa's classes, here is a link: Quilters Question Time - Trial Membership

Another small project I have finished is a Valentine Mug rug. This one was quick and easy plus used up some of my scraps.

Thanks for stopping by to see my Happy Heart Quilt and Valentine Mug Rug -  Judy.

  1. I love the Happy Heart Quilt. Haven't done any curved piecing, but this one looks manageable.
