October Quilts & A Special Recognition

October was another busy month for our Quilt Lovers Homemakers Club.

President's Challenge Quilt winners.

Other quilts entered in the President's Challenge

A Signature Quilt

The Signature Quilt below was pieced in 1997 at a Quilt Fest but never quilted until very recently. A few of the ladies who worked on the Signature Quilt are still members and are pictured with the quilt.

A Tribute to our Cofounder

The co-founder of our original Quilt Lovers of Murray was honored at our October meeting. Lou Ann has shared her knowledge of quilting over the years and touched the lives of so many quilters locally and across the state. She is now an honorary member and will be missed as she is moving due to health reasons.

  10. Thank you z Judy for sharing all of the incredible quilts your Guild Members have been making. Sad that Lou Ann is having to move but what an incredible legacy she is leaving behind with having shared her knowledge for these many years. I’m glad I don’t have to pick a favourite quilt from your Show and Tell, but that Santa runner near stopped my heart! Thank you for sharing with To Do Tuesday. I’m so looking forward to seeing more eye candy in your next post! Hope you’ve had a great week. And Happy Thanksgiving. 😉 Carol
