I am working with Wendy Vecchi Modeling Film CLEAR CLEARLY FOR ART Parts Studio to make flowers for a tag.
Here's a look at my finished tag.
My work space looked like this in the early stages as I used the Heartfelt Creations dies on the modeling film. It didn't cut them all the way through so I needed to hand cut them out. On the first flower, I cut then glued the printed paper to one of the dies pieces that didn't cut all the way through. After that I decided to glue the cut paper on to the film pieces that didn't cut all the way through. It didn't seem to make much difference with way I did the process.
Here are a few of the flowers after they were cut and glued to the modeling film. I haven't heated them yet with a heat gun but I know it will be fun.
I stamped the black tag with a phrase from the TH Stuff to Say CMS110 and his flourishes stamp using picket fence paint.
The edges of the tag were highlighted with white sidewalk chalk.
The crinkle ribbon was swiped through black soot paint weakened with black. The first swipe was way to black so I ran it through water at the sink and squeezed out most of the most for a slight tent of black just to dirty the ribbon a bit.
The flowers were heated and shaped then I glued the layers together using a glue gun. The center pieces are Goosebumps.
