If you saw my post last week, you saw that I have been working on a few "green" projects in honor of St. Patrick's Day. This week, another "green" project is complete for March.
Several green fabrics were in my stash so this would be a perfect project to use them.
I saw a Super Nova full size quilt a couple years ago and knew I wanted to make one some day. Instead of a full size quilt, I knew a table topper or wall hanging would make be happy.
I didn't have a pattern but the picture was all half square triangles.
My Bloc-Loc rules worked perfect to square up the HSTs.
Since I used the Super Nova as a table topper, I'm setting a table for St. Patrick's Day.
Thanks for stopping by to see my Super Nova table topper. Hope you have time to leave a comment - Judy.

That's so pretty in the green and white! I love the Super Nova design, too. A tabletopper is the perfect size to give the design a try!
ReplyDeleteGreat idea!
ReplyDeleteIts perfect for St Patricks day!! and it just brightens everything up!
ReplyDeleteWOW!! I love it. I have admired this design for a while now. So glad you explained how you did it.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful! I really like how the star is not dead center -- it gives the finished piece more personality! :)
ReplyDeleteLove, love, LOVE your version of Sarah's Supernova pattern!!! I made a tiny one, but may need to make another for the TABLE SCRAPS Challenge and Link Party on my blog the last weekend of the month. Matching napkins was a good idea, too, but I certainly won't have time for those this month! Sigh... SEW many project, so little time.
ReplyDeleteThat topper is so pretty and makes your table gorgeous! Thanks for sharing on Wednesday Wait Loss.
