Young Love & Vintage Card Making

I have created another Valentine card to share with you today. My inspiration came from some paper I bought last year the Authentique Collection: Lovely. I mostly used papers from the 6x6 bundle plus a sticker from one of the coordinating sticker sheets.

I used three sheets from the bundle plus the back-side of one sheets for the Spellbinders' Oval Die. The ribbon was Crinkle Ribbon from Tim Holtz idea-ology stained with Vintage Photo, spritzed with water, scrunched and dried with my heat tool. The tiny white flowers were also tipped with Vintage Photo.
There you have it for Young Love, maybe the young lad is trying to steal a kiss for Valentine's Day - Judy.

  10. What an absolutely lovely card! I was so impressed at how many clever techniques you used! I love how you tinted the ribbon and flowers with Vintage Photo ink to give it just the right look. I also love the torn-edge text paper around the clean-cut oval. It creates a wonderful look! The image is the perfect pop of color, too, and I think the whole thing is stunning. Great texture and dimension with the ribbon and flowers and hearts, too. Thank you so much for sharing your talents with us here at the Simon Says Stamp Monday Challenge blog!
