It's What You See That Matters

Take a look at one of the stamps used in my project, it says it all.

Here's a look at my finished project. 

The project began with a background stamp I hadn't used before by Inkadinkado. I stamped it with Ranger Archival Ink - Monarch Orange. Then stamped twice more on additional paper.  Tim Holtz Distress inks were rubbed on my craft sheet, spritzed with water, then rolled on the butterfly with a mini brayer. Each color was dried between layers with a heat tool. 


Each butterfly was cut out and the first one was glued flat with matte medium to the background image. The second butterfly was inked with stains using the same method as the first. This butterfly was simply glued on at the body to the first one so the wings would be free to fly.
