I have finished a couple of projects for Christmas over the last couple of weeks. Both projects were from the same fabrics so can be used together for the holidays.
The wall hanging has the trees staggered and stitched down. Snowflakes were embroidered and piping added. It is my first time to add piping to a project so there is lots of room for improvement.
The second project was a bed runner also using the trees pattern.
The pattern for the projects is from a Christmas Tree Table Runner by Ruth Nelson and can be purchased here.
T blue fabrics were selected to coordinate with a Peggy Karr Glass 11 inch snowflake plate.

I love this - when I lived in Australia we moved to blues for Xmas colours because red in a summer Christmas was just too hot!

ReplyDeleteYour blue Christmas trees are so very pretty in these! Our bedroom is painted light blue, so I just started working on an applique panel that will grow up to be a quilt for our bed that incorporates blue. I do like blue Christmas decor.
