Stonehenge Update

I've been sewing almost daily trying to finish the friendship star blocks to add to the Stonehenge panel. The quilt will be a gift for my grandson for his August birthday.

The star blocks are finished then I decided to order another fabric from this line to make the corner blocks. Here's the fabric I ordered.

I have some scraps from the fabric used for the friendship blocks plus the new fabric. I'm looking for suggestions for the corner blocks; what do you think would work for these corners? The block will be about 9 inches.

Let me know - Judy.

Stonehenge Panel and Friendship Stars

I started working on a new throw this week. The Stonehenge Solstice Panel by Linda Ludovico for Northcott caught my eye because my grandson was so impressed with Stonehenge when his family visited there last summer.

The throw will be a birthday gift for my youngest grandson for his summer birthday.

I decided to make Friendship Star blocks to add to the quilt. The fabric is from the Stonehenge Solstice collection.

I finished two blocks yesterday and laid out the third block (above) to start on today.

Thanks for stopping by - Judy.
