Halloween Cards

I made a couple of Halloween cards to share with you. Although the two cards are similiar, there are some suttle differences. You can see the first one says Trick-Or and the second says Boo.

The project started with 8.5 x 11 black card stock cut in half horizontally, scored and folded. The next layer is some patterned scrapbook paper then the Trick-or-Treat paper had a white background which I thought was a little too bright so I sprayed it with Glimmer Mist "Pumpkin Spice" and mounted it on black card stock. The next layer was ivory card stock stamped with spider webs and misted with Glimmer Mist then mounted on black card stock. Next was the witch, she is an old stamp set from Stampin' Up. First I stamped with witch with Staz on Jet Black ink then misted the paper. If you loo closely, you can see a little bark from my River Birch Tree added under the witch layer. I did spray the bark with the Glimmer Mist too.  The witch layer has foam squares under neath to give her a little pop. Wish I would have used the foam squares under the spider webs and the Boo layer but it was too late, I had already glued them on.

This was such a fun project to create. Notice the ribbon layers too, You may want to get your ribbons ready first because the black ribbon goes around that first layer of pattered paper. The three black "brads" were stick on brads.

Thanks for stopping by. Happy papercrafting, Judy
