Nests and Birds - layering stencils and texture paste

I have had so much fun at my craft table today. I am not sure if it was the texture paste, the palette colors, the stencil, the paint or the paper but I have been a happy crafter all morning.

The paper used to cut the Postage Stamp die from Tim's Wallflower stash. Love this paper. I inked the edges with Distress Ink. Then mixed distress paint with the crackled texture paste and applied it over the TH bubbles stencil. The woodgrain stencil was used with gathered twigs distress ink. You can see a little of the woodgrain in the upper left corner next to the 1, 2, 3 from the school house stencil.

Speckles were stencils with TH evergreen bough ink on the base of the card then the edges of the card were also inked with evergreen bough. I rubbed evergreen bough on my craft sheet then spritzed it with waster and drug crinkles ribbon though the mixture. Love this color!

A few splatters from Tim's stencil were also added on the postage stamp frame. The bird nest and Fig. 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7 were stamped with Black Archival Ink.

Happy crafting - Judy
