Christmas Page Embellishment

I know it's only August but I had a little spare time and worked on a Christmas layout page embellishment.Take a look:

I began making my embellishment by cuting out the festive greenery and used a little glam on the leaves and pine cone. Then added a small tattered banner and the hanging sign. The sign was stained in Picket Fence then stamped using Ranger Archival Ink. The poinsettia stamp was one from The Craft Lab where I love to go and create many of my projects. I used Tim Holtz Vintage Photo to ink the edges of the sign.

This embellishment is going on this gorgeous music paper from the Festive Collection of Authentique. I loved the music paper so much I couldn't cut it so I decided to trim it just a little all the way around and mount it on red paper from Tim Holtz Nostalgic Collection.

Supplies:

Sizzix - Tim Holtz
   - Hanging Sign
   - Sizzlits Decorative Strip Die = Alterations Collection - Festive Greenery
   - Sizzlits Decorative Strip Die - Alterations Collection - Tattered Banners
Tattered Angels - Glimmer Glam
Wire from my stash
Music paper is from Authentique  - Festive Collection
Paper for the greenery is Core-dinations - Tim Holtz Nostalgic Collection

  1. Hi Judy.

Very cute Christmas layout. The Authentic Christmas papers are really pretty. I love their Halloween ones, too! Very vintage feeling. Your greenery cut from Tim's Festive Greenery looks really good. I also like the little wirey pieces you have hanging from the greenry. Thanks for sharing your layout with us at Simon Says Stamp and Show. <3 Candy

  9. It's brilliant and completely put me in the mood for the holidays. Did you ink the pine cone leaves on the paper too? If so, that looks excellent. Love your Christmas card and all the embellishments, even the little circled what not thingy. LOL (I like to use technical terms..haha)
