Easy Stamped Tags

I needed some quick and easy Christmas tags today and here's what I made.

The tags were stamped with a Christmas stamp using Ranger Archival Ink. Then used the Ranger Gold Ink Dabber. Also used my nibs and Distress Ink to color the holly and berries.  I also used red ribbon or green fiber as my ties.

The Santa tag was also stamped with Archival Ink then I also inked the edges with Ranger Distress Ink; also used red ribbon or green fiber as the ties. These tags were fast, easy and cheap.

Thanks for stopping by - Judy. Merry Christmas to All!

La Blanche Santa With Notes Stamp

I bought a new stamp today at The Craft Lab and couldn't wait to use it. I stamped it on digital photo paper. Then used nibs and Ranger Distress Inks to color the holly and berries.

The stamped paper is glued to kraft paper that has been inked on the edges with Tim Holtz Distress Stains and also dabbed with Adirondack Metallic Acrylic Gold Paint Dabber and a little of the Snow Cap Dabber.

Thanks for stopping by - Judy.

I made Tim Holtz Christmas Tag #2 today at The Cr@ft L@b today. I followed Tim's directions from his blog and had watched the video a few days before. I'll give you a link below to his blog.

Tim Holtz Christmas Tag #1

I made my first Tim Holtz Christmas Tag #1 today at The Cr@ft L@b today. I followed Tim's directions from his blog and had watched the video a few days before. I'll give you a link below to his blog.

To me, the Noel and the pine cones seemed the most outstanding part of the tag on Tim's Blog and I really wanted my Noel to pop so first I used Ranger's Silver super fine detail embossing power, dried it with a heat tool, then added Ranger's Snowflake Embossing Tinsel. This gave me the effect I was looking for. The beads are from a necklace bought at an estate sale.

Also made card #2 which I'll show you in my next post.

Red Gift Bag

Last night while I was making gift tags, I also stamped a red  bag with snow flakes then used embossing gold glitter then made a tag to go with the bag.

Hoping to make one of the Tim Holtz Christmas tags today, or at least come close to his beautiful tag. Check out his 12  Christmas tags at: http://timholtz.typepad.com/my_weblog/2011/12/12-tags-of-christmastag-10.html

Christmas Cards

I had a wee bit of time to create some Christmas cards. My sister-in-law and I got together on  a Saturday and spend most of the day making cards.
